To commemorate Singapore’s 60th year of independence, Prudential Singapore is launching a $880,000 community investment focused on household aid, child nutrition, and sustainability – efforts timed with the company's move to a new multi-floor office at Labrador Tower.
The SG60 investment includes distribution of household essentials to more than 1,100 ComLink+ families living near Prudential’s new office. Hampers contain basic items such as hand soap and dishwashing liquid aimed at supporting personal hygiene and home cleanliness.
Prudential is also contributing to the Prudential Longevity Pledge, a fundraising initiative created in 2021 in partnership with Community Chest. This donation will continue funding the “Healthy with KidSTART” program, which delivers monthly fresh produce to families with children aged 0-6.
Launched in 2020, the program includes live online cooking demonstrations and recipe cards designed to promote healthy eating habits. Since its inception, Prudential and KidSTART volunteers have contributed nearly 20,000 hours, reaching over 3,000 families through at least three deliveries annually.
Later this year, Prudential will launch “Healthy Harvest,” a community gardening initiative intended to provide residents with access to edible green spaces. These gardens are expected to facilitate interaction, support sustainable food practices, and enable fresh produce sharing within communities. Additional details about this project will be announced at a later date.
In May 2025, Prudential completed its relocation to Labrador Tower, occupying over 170,000 square feet. The new space spans eight floors – two and a half for corporate offices, five for agency operations, and one shared floor to support interaction across teams.
The office design accommodates hybrid work arrangements and includes libraries for focused work, multiple types of meeting spaces, and phone booths.
“With over 90 years of history in Singapore, Prudential has a deep connection with the country and its people,” said Prudential Singapore CEO Chan San San. “As Singapore marks its 60th year of independence and Prudential moves to its new office at Labrador Tower, we want to celebrate by investing in the wellbeing of our community.”
