With the upcoming retirement of Tom Simoncic, Sedgwick has confirmed Paul White as its next CEO, International, effective January 1, 2026.
The leadership transition forms part of the company’s succession planning and leadership development efforts across its global operations.
Simoncic, who serves as president of global property and international, will retire after 18 years with Sedgwick. During his tenure, he led the company’s international property business and guided its operational initiatives across multiple regions. Sedgwick noted that his leadership contributed to consistent growth in international markets while maintaining focus on clients and colleagues.
White currently serves as regional CEO for international operations, overseeing markets that include the United Kingdom, Australia, Asia, the Middle East, New Zealand, and South Africa. He has been in this position since 2023 and has held various leadership roles within Sedgwick and its predecessor companies. These include chief executive officer for the UK and rest of international operations, deputy CEO, and chief operating officer for the UK and Ireland when he was with Cunningham Lindsey.
His earlier roles at Cunningham Lindsey involved responsibilities as operations director and commercial director, managing service delivery and operational performance in multiple territories. White’s experience in risk management and claims administration spans more than a decade, involving strategic oversight of international teams and market development.
Sedgwick has made a series of executive appointments in recent months. In August, the company named Kalani Reelitz as chief financial officer, tasking him with overseeing financial strategy, planning, reporting, and capital structure. Earlier this year, leadership transitions were also announced in Japan and Taiwan, where Shuji Tanaka and Cameron Lee were appointed as chief executive officers, with their predecessors, Takeshi Nagao and Huoo-Lian Liou, moving into chairman roles.
