Responsibilities

Matt is the Chief Broking Officer of Aon’s Cyber Solutions Group part of the E&O/Cyber broking team located in Chicago.  Matt is responsible for driving broking strategy, managing market relationships,  process/product innovation and broking: Network Security and Privacy Liability (Cyber), Miscellaneous Professional Liability, Technology Errors and Omissions, and Media Liability insurance policies.

Matt’s direct client work focuses on identifying, assessing, quantifying, and transferring exposures related to network security, privacy, technology, professional services and media content.  Matt has deep expertise and a large client base that focuses on healthcare, hospitality and gaming and miscellaneous professional liability coverage. 

Experience

Prior to joining Aon, Matt built a foundation in insurance as a transportation and logistics insurance Account Executive & Broker at Avalon Risk Management. In this role, Matt worked with all lines of insurance for transportation and logistics-oriented clients. In January of 2011 Matt transitioned over to Aon.

Matt is a licensed Property and Casualty Broker as well as a licensed Surplus Property and Casualty Insurance Broker.

Matt received the Young Guns 2018 award from Insurance Business America.

Matt is a member of the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce Technology Council Advisory Board.

Matt has been published and quoted in many publications related to the exposures and product lines he brokers.
