The product is now available through the MoMo App, with the aim of increasing access to health protection for Vietnamese consumers and addressing the country’s insurance protection gap.
Critical Illness Insurance+ is designed to simplify the insurance purchasing process. Applicants can complete the entire process digitally in less than two minutes, answering only two health-related questions and requiring no medical examination.
This approach eliminates paperwork and administrative complexity, aligning with the habits of Vietnam’s increasingly digital population.
The policy provides reimbursement for actual medical expenses up to VND 5 billion per year and covers 37 critical illnesses, including cancer, stroke, heart disease, and kidney failure. Policyholders can make an unlimited number of claims during the three-year term.
Premiums are structured to be affordable, with flexible payment options available on a monthly or annual basis.
The product is intended for a broad customer base, including young professionals, gig economy workers, and first-time insurance buyers.
Nguyen Hong Son, country president of Chubb Life Vietnam, said the new offering responds to the evolving needs of today’s consumers, particularly younger individuals who are increasingly proactive about their finances and comfortable using digital platforms.
“With Critical Illness Insurance+, MoMo and Chubb Life Vietnam are transforming protection from a privilege into a practical, convenient, and accessible reality for all.
