Alliant Insurance Services has appointed Chris Amery (pictured above) as senior vice president in its Employee Benefits Group. Amery will be based in Wayne, Penn.
With more than 20 years of experience, Amery will support organizations in designing and implementing employee benefits programs. His background includes working with a range of employers, from middle market companies to organizations with more than 100,000 employees.
Amery’s experience covers several sectors, including healthcare, manufacturing, nonprofit, pharmaceuticals, higher education, financial services, technology, and professional services. His skills include benefit design, vendor assessment and negotiations, plan administration, pricing, and network optimization.
Before joining Alliant, Amery was a partner at a global employee benefits consulting firm. He holds dual bachelor’s degrees in business administration from Temple University, with concentrations in risk management and insurance as well as marketing.

In addition to Amery’s appointment, Alliant also named Faby Jauregui as vice president in its Employee Benefits Group. Based in San Francisco, Jauregui brings nearly 20 years of experience in employee benefits and healthcare consulting.
The company has also expanded its Employee Benefits Group with the addition of Megan Hood as vice president and John Smith as assistant vice president. Hood, based in San Francisco, focuses on serving technology employers, while Smith, operating from North Carolina, serves clients across the Southeast.
Alliant has also made significant leadership changes in its mergers and acquisitions division, appointing Mark Rusas as executive vice president and managing director. Rusas co-leads the M&A practice, focusing on enhancing client services in complex deal structures and bringing expertise in risk management and transactional insurance.
